Supporting our community and our world

We’re passionate about making a positive difference in the world. All our surplus funds go to local and global charities supporting people in need. When you arrange a funeral with us, we also make an extra donation to one of these groups in honour of your loved one.

Our Giving Program

Last year we distributed $628,000 to Australian charities (*2024-25 Impact Report), as part of our Not-for-Profit giving program. Your family can join us and choose where some of this year’s donation will go by selecting the charity your family cares about most from our mission, humanitarian or local community partners.

We could not recommend Claudia and the team at Compassion Funerals highly enough. From the very first phone call, our family felt like our loved one was in the most caring and compassionate hands. Claudia guided us through the entire process at our own pace, making such a difficult time feel far less overwhelming. She did a beautiful job organising the service, treating everything with dignity, care, and genuine compassion throughout. This is something no family ever wants to go through, but we are so grateful for the kindness and support Claudia and the team showed us every step of the way. Thank you for helping us honour our loved one so beautifully.

I'm quite late in adding this review, but it would be remiss of me not to acknowledge the incredible kindness, thoughtfulness and patience that Kim and the team at Compassionate Funerals showed our family when our beloved Jim passed in March 2026. It was a quick turnaround, and of course we were very overwhelmed - but Kim made the process so straightforward for us. She was so warm and understanding of how raw the grief was, and ensured everything ran as smoothly and stress-free as possible. The service itself was beautiful, we couldn't have asked for more. Many efforts were made to include personal touches, and Kim also connected us with our lovely celebrant Wendy. It's not something I'd wish on anyone, but for anyone navigating this stage of life, I can't recommend Compassionate Funerals enough to help you in your time of need.

With the sudden passing of my mother, one call to Compassionate Funerals QLD was all that was needed. From the first contact to the last, Jessica was a Blessing, kind and very caring person. The wonderful memorial at Albany Creek Memorial Park was everything we imagined and more for our Mother and Nonna. Everything flowed beautifully and seemlessly, from our private family viewing at their chapel to the moment Mum's ashes were returned to us with the utmost respect. Our family extends our deepest gratitude to Jessica who made the entire process simple, full of compassion and with complete professionalism at a time when we all couldn't think With grateful hearts, we thank you Jessica....
